Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki worked as a CNN political contributor between 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001, as an influential political contributor to CNN. She worked on elections for the re-elections of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later appointed as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. In the year 2000, Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for the White House[21] were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State.
