Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn, who was born August 19, 1965 was an American actress. She is also an actor and producer. Her most well-known role is her part as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick won two Emmy Awards in the years 2010 and 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The show ended on August 13, 2012, following the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated to the Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born On the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The actress also appeared in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012).
